The store's ground floor features a wide choice of famous-name small kitchen appliances and kitchenware, giftware, vases and ornaments, children's toys and games, decorative ceramic tiles, cards and giftwrap.

The first floor is dedicated to designer soft furnishings, including curtains, blinds, cushions and fabrics, and larger contemporary and traditional pieces - comprising dining room sets, sofas, chairs, lighting and occasional furniture from leading manufacturers.

There is also a gallery showcasing the work of local artists and photographers - all of which are available to purchase.

Andrew, who runs the business with his partner Jackie, explains: "We don't try to compete with the bigger high street stores, instead we aim to offer a wide range of quality items which customers will be hard-pressed to find elsewhere.

"Our product range is carefully selected to offer items which enable customers to make a real design statement in their home.

"And, at the same time, we pride ourselves on providing the attention to detail and service that makes the shopping experience a pleasure."

Andrew and Jackie are committed to customer care and have launched a product finding service to source must-have items for the home.

Customers who have seen a home interior item in a magazine, newspaper or television programme, but do not know where to buy it, can ask the store to track it down.

The service eliminates the need to carry out extensive research or an exhaustive search to a major city, such as London, and utilises Jackie's extensive experience and knowledge in the retail industry.

Andrew and Jackie have just introduced a coffee shop for customers in a converted stable at the rear of the store, which they hope will add to the shopping experience of their customers.
